Our Soft Jazz Saxophonist
Nonni's Corner Trattoria is delighted to feature the very talented saxophonist, Terry Steele, who performs regularly and is often joined by Dr. Glenn Utsch.
Terry Steele is the saxophonist with the Pittsburgh Symphony and Pops orchestras and has toured the United States and Europe with the symphony. He also performs on saxophone, clarinet and flute with the Civic Light Opera Orchestra, the Broadway Series Orchestra, the Pittsburgh Ballet orchestra and many national PBS telecasts. He is regularly called to perform with pop and jazz legends and numerous nationally known acts. He has served three terms of office as the Pennsylvania state president of the International Association for Jazz Educators.
Mr. Steele is professor emeritus at Slippery Rock University where he served as associate professor of music of Slippery Rock University for over 32 years and taught saxophone, clarinet, and jazz studies. He is currently the saxophone instructor at Carnegie Mellon University.
